Ailsa Craig is perhaps the most famous landmark in the area. Photographers are always entranced by the amazing number of different sunsets it conjures up as the sun moves around the horizon through the year. Just watching the sun disappear behind it or the clouds is a kaleidoscope of colours. This is one of its more peaceful moods!
